Yesterday, I cut a backstrap into 1/2" steaks, then hit them with the tenderizer mallet. Chicke fried the goat, as well as some whitetail. The general consensus was the goat was better. Who would've thought?

I’ve heard it’s really good and I’ve heard it’s really bad. I think it’s because pronghorn season is early and typically warm. Proper field care leads me to believe that it’s a good meat that just needs a little extra diligence due to weather.
Congrats on the speed goat, the couple pronghorn I have killed were to me no doubt better tasting than whitetail deer, I figured it was in part the diet, the goats were in alfalfa alfalfa shot
Ive eaten some pronghorn back in college, one of my roomates had a bunch, they werent real wild about it, i thought it was every bit as good as whitetail or better.
Did the eldx go all the way through at that distance?
