Hope it was to throw a stick of TNT into it if it is a rattlesnake den!

I like to slip in and get pictures when they're denning. We've got a bunch of dens on the big ranch. That picture session turned into an arrowhead hunt and never took any snake pic's.

Wow!....really hope to find one of those some day.

Your part of the world is incredible and your pics are insanely good. Everytime I have found a point it's a magical thing. Wonder if that is "Alibates" flint. The colors are characteristic of that.

Could be, we have some opalized deposits in the caliche beds that have a similar appearance. I've found Alibates points in this area..
