Shoot the pigs, catch the fish

Shoot the pigs, catch the fish - 09/28/20 09:14 PM

It's that time of the year, game of every type was on the move and the fish were biting. In the span of a few minutes, saw a great buck, couple of turkeys, hogs, and killed a cotton mouth that was moving out of the creek. Shot a bunch of pigs and caught 35-40 bass. Biggest hog and best Bass of the weekend:

It is. 51 years old and shoots fantastic. I only have one original magazine, but have figured out how to modify new magazines and it cycles great, hasn't jammed once.

My dad has one about that old. He’s never taken it apart to clean it and it has never jammed or misfired. Those things are built like tanks

I got it used recently, may have paid too much but I know they're great. This one has a lot of holster wear but no rust. I took a chance on it and it worked out. Thanks to a THF member that sold it to me. I haven't broke it down all the way, but have cleaned it as thoroughly as possible. I did figure out how to break the magazine down and clean that. If he ever has trouble with it, have him take the magazine apart, pull the spring out and clean the hell out of everything. I couldn't believe the crap that came out of the original magazine.

estimates; 6 and 170. If I don't have an actual, I tend to be low on my estimates. We weigh the big hogs, and at the end of the year winner gets the $. I wouldn't have put this one on the scale. Did I say something about a snake? [Linked Image]
