I may never see him again, but I'm curious how much "antler shrink" there will be once the velvet is off. Just saw him driving by(behind high fence) and thought this would make a nice pic for the wall.

Really nice pic...I would say as tight as the velvet has shrunk down he would loose from 1/2" to 1" per side on mass. Tine and beam length he might loose a little on each side.

He will lose a little of course but not much. Hell of a deer!
