Pond King in Lindsay sells something similar. Do they sell parts/kits as well?

Google "porcupine fish attractors". They're available from several suppliers.

I just bought the green holders and then went to Home Depot and bought 1/2 inch PVC in 10 foot lengths. Cut them down into 30 inch lengths and take a hammer and tap them into the holder. Tied a small rope around the base and a large rock on the other end -

Thanks for sharing! Where do you get the green base?

Put several of them beneath the dock at a friend's place last year and it made a big difference this Spring.
We used pvc pipe glue rather than just trust the friction fit.

I like to put mesquite, xmas trees in with lots of weight at the bottom, there is something about trees that attract bait fish

That's natural. A PVC 'mine' is not.

What if you used PVC Pipe and filled the pipe with cement and then capped off. Stays down and won't be pulling them Or making them tumble while snagging a fish or not.

Structure is key!

Are the buoyant? I'm thinking you need a buoy or something to keep it off the bottom? Otherwise they will sink into the silt, right?

If you’re within driving distance of Lake of the Pines these attractors are great and reasonable. The tubing is fiber optic casing in 40 pounds of concrete. I used 4 in my 10x24 foot boatslip at Tawakoni and within a month was catching many more crappie. This spring a caught 2 over 2 1/2 pounds and dozens over 1 1/2 pounds. Works well for bass also and the hard casing makes it difficult to hang up.

According to the plans that came with the ones I bought, you make one piece of pipe 6 - 12 in longer that the others.
Drill a couple screws into the bottom of that pipe perpendicular to the pipe.
Get some small cheap plastic buckets about 4 - 6 inches deep.
Fill the bucket with cement and push the long pipe into the cement.
Bury the buckets with concrete into the bottom of the lake to anchor the porcupine.

Just slip a couple of old bricks over one of the pipes and glue a tee on to hold the bricks on there. Done!

How many sockets? I calculate 26.

Structure plays a huge part for the bass fishery. Allows baitfish to grow up and become bigger for the big bass.

I have quite a bit of the pondking stuff, I really like it.

I just tied some heavy twine/rope around the ball and then tied a large rock to the end of the tine and dumped it overboard - have done the same with Christmas trees for years

Fill a 5 gallon bucket with about 20 lbs of dry sackrete, then take 12-15 sticks of cane (6'-10') and push into the dry sackrete. Pour another 20+ lbs into the bucket, then pour about a half gallon of water into 5 gallon bucket allow to dry. BINGO a $5 fish shelter that will last many years. You can modify each 5 gallon bucket to your needs & wants.

They work great unless you have Beavers around. They chewed off all the pvc and use them for hut building. Even the cedar and Christmas trees end up for hut material. The more beavers we kill only makes room for new ones.

Can't say I have seen a beaver around here lately!
