Old and New place

Old and New place - 07/27/20 04:35 PM

Been on a place for about 20 years, the past few years have been touch and go, whether or not we would be able to retain it. Been alot of great memories and raised my two daughters out there.
Been saving for the past 10+ years so IF I found a place that had what I wanted, in the area i wanted it, I could jump on it. Well this past Feb my dream came true! Found a nice Little place surround on three sides by a 40k acre ranch. Been working all Summer to get it ready, Man it's been hot.
Seeing Horny Toads most every trip, this guy had some nice coloration. [Linked Image]

Still maintaining the other place and getting feeders going this past weekend. Let them go empty back in the spring since I wasn't sure if I was going to have to pick everything up and move off. Thankfully looks like were going to make it another year. I may actually have a chance to buy part of this place too. Sure would love to, it been a great ranch.
Had a neighbor come down to look at one of my campers for sale. We got in a little nightime hunting and calling on the old place.
Called in two pigs, only picture of one.

Nice looking Bull as I was pulling into the east gate to go fill feeders.

Pitchfork is a special place. Old lease pasture had some toxic people on it so glad we moved to a new pasture and glad I was able to finally get on.

Having my own place has always been a dream of mine, I wanted something that, when I'm gone my girls will be able to bring their families and continue to make life long memories. I'm hoping over the years to be able and add to this parcel. I've already started saving for the next one.

You can have a lot of fun on on 320 acres and with big neighbors you probably will have yourself a real sweet honey hole once you get your feeders and food plots in place cheers

Everything is in place and been feeding for few months. Nice knowing I'll never have to leave and move all my Sh*t ever again. Now to look at some Plus sized blinds next year.

I cheers
