Lonesome Dove - Day 20 - July 4th

It's been a full 24 hours that both chicks have left the nest. They have been on the ground just below the nest. They don't move much, they have stayed in the same area on the ground since they left the next.

Cool. These have been great posts' I've enjoyed watching the chicks grow. Have you seen them eating anything?

jetdad, no, I haven't seen them eat anything.

Throw some bird seed down there, maybe a bowl of water. They’ll learn.

I’m a little worried about them. Birds don’t do well on the ground.

Cast, I am too. I made the decision that I wasn't going to get involved.
