Loesome Dove - Day 6 - June 20th - 06/20/20 01:41 PM

Laurie Darlin - I was a bit worried what I might find after last nights storm. My Laurie Darlin made it through the night. She has one chick that I have seen but I haven't been able to get a picture of it.

We had a ring neck dove for several years.
Kept in bed room... It wood koo often.
We started t build a pen, & get second one..
After couple years she laid an egg...
Final gave it away to a guy who claimed he had several in a big pen.
They could fly a bit. So the dove wouldn't be lonesome...
cheers they make an awesome alarm clock...

I’m about 480 pages in so just a hair over halfway. Not sure if I’ve gotten to that part, but possibly have. McMurtry has the most casual way of writing the most gruesome stuff.
I previously read the Barrybender series and this was one of the things that struck me as so defining of his style.

Don't focus so much on the details. I've been posting to FB longer than I have the Forum.
