Shed hunt with the rugrats

Shed hunt with the rugrats - 03/27/20 05:05 AM

We took advantage of one of the few benefits of a dry spring. Easy shed hunting! Don’t worry, we maintained proper social distancing. Also stumbled upon 2 different horny toads. Fun times. And I know we aren’t supposed to disturb these fellers, but my youngest was so excited to find a “baby triceratops.”

Some great finds there. I sure wish horned toads would somehow make a comeback in my neck of the woods.

Is there a science to shed hunting other than walking around and looking on the ground?

I found one wedged in a tree once, about 3 feet off the ground.
