Best way to move stands!
Is that scaffolding in cement?

Just on cement pads, not actually set in cement. The cedar post in the middle it is all anchored to is set in cement.

This hunt was a bit funny. We were at the ranch because the Kubota tractor was delivered. We had waited to put up the new stand so we could use the front end loader on the big Kubota instead of the smaller John Deere. It was worth the wait. That thing is a beast.
So for the Saturday afternoon hunt, my father-in-law went to one end of the property, my son dropped me off at the new stand and went to another one of our stands
I shot my doe in the first 20 minutes on the stand. About 20 minutes later, my son came back and assumed we were done hunting since I shot a doe. We loaded it up in the Mule and I told him he could keep hunting if he wanted to. He went to a stand that hunts a small area, maybe 400 yards away. He had literally not been gone more than 5 minutes before I heard a shot. A little while later, here he comes, the stand he went to was on the side of a hill overlooking a food plot and feeder on the edge of a creek bottom. As he was walking down the hill to the stand, there was a doe at the feeder. He sat down, loaded up, propped the rifle on a knee, and put it down.
As we were getting ready to go load his deer, my father-in-law texted me asking if we had seen anything because he had seen nothing so far. I responded a few minutes later with a pic of both of our deer loaded up. He replied to ignore the last message, He had a buck down and wanted help loading it up.
Coryell County has been a little slow for us the last few weeks. We've all taken guests to try to let them use some MLD tags, but nothing has been moving. I guess that storm front Friday night got them stirred up and we all connected.
