Finally going to mount one

Finally took down one worthy of mounting. The goal was to wait to mount one if it beat my grandmothers from our ranch. This one didn't beat hers but after 37 years of hunting my family's land, this is my biggest. He has 13 but had broken 3 more. Going to have the taxidermist rebuild the broken ones based on unbroken pictures of him. Ranch is in Kimble County.

Great character buck!!! Where in Kimble County? I have hunted 700 Springs in years past and he reminds me of some of the bucks that we saw down there.

Beautiful, awesome buck. Congratulations! I just bought a place in Kimble County and hope to kill a hill country buck similar to yours. Family land, generations down the line, is a special place for sure. Personally, I'd leave the points broken. 'Gives the old boy even more character.

And Grandma's deer is incredible. Imagine how many goats were wandering around in 1946! I bet everyone in the county knew about that deer back then.

Her buck was the smallest of the three in a group. She could only get a shot at him.
