Abscess

This one that we call Caption Hook broke a brow and has a big swollen abscess on his neck. I’m assuming he got stabbed by an antler.





Hopefully it heals

Had a big buck on the no shoot list last year that came up with an abcess early season. He was put onto the 'OK to shoot list'. Nobody saw him in person and about 2 months later the abcess area was pretty much gone. Take that for what you will.

I'm betting it is some fatty tissue if not a REALLY big tumor. Sad to see, especially on a toad like that.
