She is a German Shorthaired Pointer.

The AKC has three levels of hunt tests...Junior, Senior, and Master....the tests ask a dog to demonstrate the ability to hunt. Master is the most demanding.

In Master, they must be able to run for 30 minutes, find and point at least one bird, remain steady to the shot, and retrieve to the handlers hand. They must also honor their bracemates point. The test is a pass/fail, not a competition against other dogs. Any bobble and they fail.

It is really what you want a dog to do in the field when you are hunting. It has been fun watching her progress to the point where she can pass the Master hunt test.
