Son's first pig!

A good bud of mine invited us out to his place to shoot a pig or an aoudad. We had a great weekend and we were able to do both. The highlight though was my 7 yr. old shot his first pig and did it with the thermal! I have footage of it via my buds scope as I forgot to hit record in all the excitement.(dont know how to upload) My boy shot his first buck last season and now his pig, pretty sure my trigger days are over!

The last photo was the first kill with my 26 Nosler. Shined the light on the protein feeder on the way in for dinner and the thieves were there. They were literally standing on their hind legs to get the protein. One shot produced two pigs!

His hunting career is off to a great start!

Awesome. Yep I would not trade those precious few years of me not getting to pull the trigger at all. It's just a short time together...enjoy. I now cherish the times when my son can get away from work now to join in on a hunt.

Haha! Man, i'm assuming the bullet was tumbling after going through that first pig. When we flipped him over we were like daaaaaang!
