Great pics, thanks for posting. Cherish and preserve those memories. TxTro youre just a pup so lots of dead animal memories in your future so I suggest a BIG photo album.

Thanks again TxTro. Maybe ill elaborate on my upcoming comment by starting another thread but quickly I wanna point out something. My Dad used to go hunting every year in Colorado with a group of guys and invariably most dead deer pics always included numerous members of the group rather it be one animal of more. In later years the wives started going and they would be in the pics as well. Fast forward a generation and it seems most dead animal pics are with the solo hunter. I am very guilty of this. Maybe that was just true of my Dad and now me but I really noticed it other day as I went through old pics. I usually hesitate to get a thread off track but I figure if I get any replies then that will help keep the thread alive and that's a good thing cause these pics are good stuff.

I wasn't referring to your pics at all but I just got to noticing and thinking about my own family in the old days vs our large lease with lots of guys in camp as well as pics I see on internet etc. We dedicate lots of time and effort to getting high quality pics but its mostly to showcase the animal and its rack for reference for management purposes and record keeping. The good pics are gonna be there for the memories but I often forget about capturing the entire experience which would include others as well as secondary scenes that are relative to the memory. Your thread has really got me rethinking our photo ops.
