A friend at a ranch in Del Rio, TX that we frequent shared these pics the other day. They catch them on camera a few times a year and have taken one off the ranch.

Look at the time stamp on the photos.
The lion came face to face with the coon at 9:37
After the azz woopen the coon put on him it looks like he decided to try him again at 9:42

Cool pics, saw one near Black Mountain on a lease that splits Edwards and Kinney county several years ago. Government trapper caught it a couple weeks after deer season. They are in that area for sure

In high school I saw a boar raccoon fall out of a tree on to a Plotts coonhound during a night hunt. It turned the hound into hamburger.

It appears the coon actually approached the lion from the feeder. Must of been not paying attention IMO, no contest in that fight, coon is toast if the lion decides to kill it.

Theirs abunch around their we had one on camera in 2016 then I had a friend hunting on my place off cr415 and he claims to have saw a huge one while sitting in the blind.
