Doubled Up with a Bonus

Did not see a big old mature one so I went meat hunting last week. Got me a nice fat doe and a surprising hunt in my trailer
Sunday pm finally found a doe without a fawn so meat in the freeze now.



While sitting on the drinking my early the next morning an elusive creature scampered out of the shower and headed into the main part of the trailer
Well when I got through taking care of business I snuck out the door to see it under my bunk staring at me. I picked up the most lethal weapon I could find (boot) and partially hid against the wall.
Low and behold it wobbled out and was making an ill fated run back to the bathroom and I cut it off at the pass. It had obviously been eating the poison in the bathroom and was disoriented which made for easy pickings for me.

And my bonus is that my poacher did not shoot the big young 8 yet, he is pretty much nocturnal now.

Well it was a decent end to a challenging season but I had fun for the most part.




I thought about having a euro done on the mouse, tough decision but I decided to hold out for even bigger game like maybe a Pack Rat
