Ever heard the phrase, "Stubborn old Woman."

Ever heard the phrase, "Stubborn old Woman." - 12/07/18 03:11 PM

We have had lots of rain in East Texas where we hunt this year. Last weekend the creek that my wife has been able to cross to get to her favorite stand was up and running.
I told her not to try to cross it, but she found a way a short distance down the creek. At 72, the phrase, "older and smarter," does not apply here. But the phrase, "Stubborn
old Woman," does. But I do have to say, "I love that woman."

I would guess not because if Mr T is like me he would have either died from laughing or died from her rifle shot as he was on his knees laughing smile

Glad she made it and did not get wet. I have crossed creeks many times on logs. Worst one was a log broke one morning when it was 14 degrees. Cold half mile walk back to the house.

For getting deer back across it helps to have enough rope to go across the creek then just pull it across after you get to the other side. Been there and done that many times.
