Wife's first kill!

Had the whole familia at the lease this weekend and the wife got it done! My wife goes hunting with me quite a bit but has never wanted to shoot anything. Recently she talked about shooting a pig or coyote but wasn't up for a deer, I was just fine with that. Well that changed Saturday evening, we watched this spike for a bit and I told her man someone should shoot that deer, she responds "I will". I ask her if she's serious and she's like "yea, I'm ready" I hand her the 25-06 and calm her down a bit and stop the spike with a grunt and she puts the smack down on him! Dropped him in his tracks. It was awesome! We got it loaded and headed back to the truck and she looks at me and says, "ok, I'm ready to shoot a big one" slow down chica!

Very cool and congrats.
My wife got the bug a few years after the daughters had moved out on their own.
Now she shoots everything. I have no need to pull the trigger any more, I enjoy her catching up for lost time.
