I saw Nikon released the P1000 recently. Would love to get my hands on both the P900 & P1000 and compare them. Always love the pics.

I've got one too - try this - 08/29/18 12:26 PM

Nice pics

If you still have the jet close-up pic on your sd card, use the "Quick Retouch" option during playback in cam. It'll darken the sky and brighten the jet/trails. I think you'll like the effect.

It's quick 'n easy:
hit play, find your pic, hit menu, then quick retouch

Amazing zoom is right - gotta have it for wildlife

Wish the cam was weather sealed! P1K isn't either, but it has a huge EVF! Christmas in September for sure.

Awesome picture!

Check this website out. Flight Radar 24

It's live and you can get all the info on the plane you're shooting, which could be cool...some dude heading to Lubbock, plane headed to Hawaii, etc...

Looks like that picture you got is of the big boy of the region, the Quantas A380.
It's a morning and night flight from DFW to Melbourne. It's in the Pacific now, headed for DFW (QF7).....It's incredible to see around DFW, you know immediately which plane it is. You hear it and say that sounds big...see the red tail, and go ohh my....the daily Quantas flight and watch it for a while.

You Sir are in deep Chit with Mrs. B, just placed an order for the P-1000, they don't start shipping until next month so it will be awhile. Stay away from Howard County. Ordered the Bluetooth to go with it. I don't use the Nikon cards they dump a photo file that I don't like to use.
