For all you fellas saying you would pass...would you really? Say that dude walked out opening morning with no ear tag would y’all really pass? Personally I’m not a HF hunter (Can’t lump them all together though) but I don’t begrudge those that are and I would shoot that dude in a heartbeat if he walked out.

I only hunt LF but have hunted hf for culling does and spikes. Would I pay to shoot it on a hf ranch under 2500 acres? No But I probably wouldn’t shoot it on any hf ranch, that’s just me. If I saw it walk out at my LF lease, I’ll be shaking until I can steady for a shot.

Yep, I'm at a Deer Breeders Convention, and there are some amazing bucks, I remember 20 years ago a 160 class buck was big, now they are considered stocker bucks if they don't score better than 250 at 3yrs. I know different strokes for different folks, I don't have any pen deer, but I don't mind looking at them. I remember years back the demand was non typical and now they are trying to breed back the cleanest typical possible.

I hunt on a low fence place and we don't have anything like that in our area that I know of. If I saw it on our lease war tag or not it would be down to make sure it didn't breed any of the does. However, I think I would just do a euro of it. I have no desire to hunt a deer like that and have nothing bad to say about those that do it's just not for me.

I have nothing against high fence hunters (to each their own) if a freak buck walked out where I hunt I wold drop it in a heart beat.

Those pen deer are just lost on me for some reasons. I’ll take a 140” free range deer that nibbles on corn every once in a while.
