Looks serious, glad there are no injuries. They have 2 rigs drilling very close to my land in Live Oak County, rig 229 and 589 are drilling now.

Patterson says a third party's equipment caught the rig on fire. It was not a well control issue.

Any idea who the 3rd party was and what they were doing at the time of the fire?

I just heard that a centrifuge on the mud tanks caught fire and then set the oil-based mud on fire......800+ barrels of mud....bet that was one hot fire!
