That's a whopper of a first fish. I recall my kids first were bluegill, about 3 inches in length. Good times.

This is my Grand Son. He's a big city kid, and his Dad isn't an outdoorsman. I only get a crack at him for deer lease trips a couple of times a year. He loves it, caught several that day, and the next.

Look at that smile! This post takes me back to when I was a kid and spending time with my Grandfather. He taught me to fish and hunt and I cherish those memories. I have no doubt your grandson will as well.
