Memorial Day Hero - Medal of Honor - 05/27/18 01:49 PM
I was fortunate enough to meet Roy in 1991 when he came to my hometown to speak to a service club I belonged to. I was so inspired by him that I submitted his name to be a main platform speaker for a national business convention I attended each year of 5,000 people. He brought the house down and was probably the most popular speaker the organization ever had in its long history.
Roy was kind enough to send me an autographed picture for getting him the gig along with an autographed book he wrote.
Take time to listen to his story and you will not be sorry. He has passed away but will not be forgotten - especially on Memorial Day
