35 Year Trophy Goal

35 Year Trophy Goal - 04/30/18 01:30 AM

One of my first solo hunts in 1983 I missed one of these.
It's been 35 years since I've seen one wild in the woods.
Chest to back height is only 4" Length at 11.25" not including head or tail.
Tail measured 11.25" Going to make an awsome full body mount.

Beautiful! I have only taken one and won’t shoot another. Here’s my mount if you’re looking for ideas:

That should make a great mount! They're beautiful animals, I love seeing them when I deer hunt. Had one get my wind a couple of years ago and start barking at me. Neat moment.

Just watched the video. As always, enjoyed it. You are more enjoyable to watch than 99% of what’s out there. Love your obvious excitement/enthusiasm. Quite a breath of fresh air from all the phony-baloney feigned excitement over the TV guys’ 1564th whitetail they had to shoot just to have show footage.

I’m a little skeptical of that panfish though. grin

Nice. I’ve seen/shot lots of gray foxes but only have seen shot one red one. When I was heavy into calling, foxes came in so regular that I stopped shooting them.

Sorry to troll but we saw them nearly every weekend in western Brown County (Texas) 2011-2012.

I see one on the golf course near me routinely. He or she has been there a couple of years now.

Congrats!

We've got more than we need.
Had quail around the house until I turned loose a pup I rescued, but can't bring myself to get rid of him.

Nice video! You should take that kayak to Hagerman. Folks have been slaying the crappie out there. Minnows & jigs in the creeks, mostly.
