Side by Side mayhem

Been a late spring here. Got my side by side stuck at my hunt camp a while back and left it as I had no need for it until this spring. Typical year would have been no problem. Well can't delay any longer as I need it on a job site for Monday. A wee bit of a challenge. Initially trying to pull uphill and the 2 ton chain puller could not break it loose (wheels were frozen in solid due to a number of freeze thaw cycles):



Gave up on that and pulled back down the hill and with the gravity assist it came loose. Than it was just pull, reset, pull until I cleared the steep section - and we're there:



Needed about 80 feet of strap to get the job done:



Definitely gotta put a winch on that thing.

The big question, did it start right up?

It did. I took the battery out with me when I got it stuck initially.

I'm thinking winch and enclosed cab ...

If I did I would own me a Kubota 1100 with fully enclosed cab - heater, AC, and defrost

I really don't know how you guys live in that stuff. One snowfall every four or five years is about all I can take.
