I was thinking the same thing. I drove past there (twice) last weekend.

Close enough with a GW address but actually it is closer to Oakville(6 miles) than George West(8 miles). On FM 799.

Years ago there was one for sale on the side of the road close to LE Feed in George West, thus I took a guess. I wonder if it is the same one? The only reason I noticed/remembered it at all is because I always thought it looked exactly like the one on the bluff in La Grange.

They should place it on the North side of the river... May help cut down on some crossings
