Urine burned tarsal glands

This buck was killed on our ranch this morning. I don’t think I’ve ever seen the tarsal glands so black that it went down to its hoof. Also the urine “burned” the hair off or the rubbing of the hocks wore it off.

Be a bad deal to pee on your leg and burn the hair off!
