Funny should say that, Pitch. In 1966 Dad bought a new Pontiac station wagon and that's exactly what we did. Stopped at the Grand Canyon on the way back. First car my parents ever owned with A/C. You had to have it across the Mojave desert... Nice ride.

It originally had a 351 wensor but the rings were gone and I was able to pretty much get the 390 for free. Its definitely modified, not all original parts. Wish

My grandparents on my dads side had one that I remember as a kid, but the mentioning of the 460" engine reminded me of the 1989 Lincoln town car anniversary addition my grand father (moms side) had that came factory with a 460 and it was one massive boat of a car but man that thing would move!....
