My Colorado Farmland Buck

Not much of a story. Found a group of 12 Bucks feeding together in an alfalfa field and picked out the biggest. Spooked them the first time I spotted them, did a little maneuvering to hopefully get in front of them and it all worked out for a change. Shot him at 125 yards with 300 Win Mag. 181 and some change for a score. He was a fat sucker, should eat well.

Yea, that was a cool place. It was right next to the Boy Scout ranch in New Mexico. The first pic was about 30 yards from our room and the second is in the living area of the ranch house. Saw Elk, MD and Antelope there. It's a B&B with 6 bedrooms. It's an old adobe ranch house that was built in 1912. www.casadelgavilan.com
