Bad weekend for dove, but good for...

Culling Diamondbacks. 7 snakes in 3 days is too dang many in my book. Dang near killed as many snakes as dove.

I respect their right to be around, but I kill every one I find.

You need to kill more snakes. As to the doves, on Thursday from Abilene to Plains it was sorry pickens, there were miles that we did not see a dove flying.

Bummer on the Dove, at least y'all got to shoot something

Think I'll save a couple big ones next time and see if my boot maker can whip me up a pair of these in diamondback!

I know your not a fan of snake killing, but rattlers that make a home in the yard or near my deer blind don't get a pass. Pretty much any other snake is left be.

I'm pretty sure there's a den close to this fence line I was dove hunting. If anybody wants to do a rattlesnake roundup I can make arrangements.
