First round of TC pics...

First round of TC pics... - 08/31/15 12:04 AM

Between work, vacations, kids activities and other obligations, wasn't able to get up to the lease and set up as early this year. I made it out a couple of weeks ago and Dad went to the lease to meet our newest member...so I had him bring me back the cards.

Like many places, we had a good Spring, but our place wasn't as wet as most of Texas. We ran slightly above average through the Spring, but it was enough. Deer look healthy and looks like we will have some extra stickers/kickers on some of the bucks.

Been there around 20 years and never seen any. Go 15 miles in most directions and they have them. Never figured out why they haven't made it to us, but we keep being told they are coming confused2

May just be the way the photo looks, but I say cull the deer on the left in picture 3

I have pics of him since he was young and should have taken him out then. He will make you look when he is coming at you but sure looks funny when he turns sideways. Going to try to get one of the kids on him this year.

Good looking brood, should be short days in the stand this year maybe. Pretty damn good for the cost of some steak and golf trips up

We leased a place southwest of Quail this year. They told us that there were no hogs. First critter we saw on the place was a big boar hog! bang
