My grandson's first deer: 8 pt buck

Oh well, looks like he snapped off a couple tines scrapping it out there, but I'm counting them anyway. The smile on my grandson's face tells it all. He was shaking so hard after the shot, he asked me, "Papa, does this happen to you after you shoot a deer?" I had to explain to him the physics of buck fever...and adrenalin. Take a boy hunting! It was he who reminded me to mark his cheeks with some blood for his first kill. Umgawa!

I would too. 40-50 years from now, he can show that photo and tell the story to your G grand-kids, sure he will get emotional too, that's family history and legacy.
