Monty is a good guy... He never claims in the post that HE killed the deer. I'm sure this will be cleared up.

First thing I thought. Monty is good as gold and he never said "I" killed this buck. I know he works on a place in Scotland, maybe he just ment big boy slipped up and the hunter got lucky?

Monty is a good guy and I probably know him better then just about anyone on here! He just let this deal get a little out of hand and I don't appreciate being called a liar by people who have read this thread or his Facebook page.

I killed this deer with my bow in Cooke county Monday evening.

So it was killed in Scotland on the same lease as monty and he was just showing it off that a good buck was killed but never claimed to had killed it himself. What's the issue then? My buddy Eric killed a good buck on our lease last week and I was sure showing it off.

Honestly I couldn't care less who killed the deer, but there's a certain line of impropriety in hunting that a person just shouldn't cross. The OP should come on here and clear things up or this thread should be executed violently. Won't get into what this is probably doing to the OP's reputation.

It is entirely possible the OP simply downloaded the wrong picture of a deer from his phone and posted it up without checking. It may be an honest mistake.

And the fact that OP hasn't been back here to clear it up probably tells us he is busy, I have seen him vigorously defend himself in other posts so I am sure he will In-muddy the water when he can.

No, he had someone complain on here about a hog hunt he did for them, and the reviewer was being unreasonable about wanting a guaranteed kill or something, and Monty offered the guy another trip for free but the guy was butt sore he didn't get a hog that trip...can't control the animals

He stood up for himself to the guy posting the bad review on here and many people came to Monty's defense too. just telling it the way it went down.

I hunted my [censored] off to kill this deer with my bow. I don't ever get on this forum much but I did post the pics and story on another forum. Then I get private messages sent to me accusing me of trying to claim Monty's deer. A joke is funny and all but to run with it like this and let me be accused of being the liar is not funny.

I was playing a joke on two busdies .I told them I took the buck.butt my buddy carlton took this deer.it scored 160 1/8Carlton not lieing he shot it.I guess I shouldn't joke around.sorry every one.still big deer

I do have a sense of humor, and can enjoy the joke, but the very fact of you stating this needs addressing. You DID lead the entire forum to believe that you shot this deer.
