~200 yds
25-06 100 grain
I have had pictures of this deer since July. He was frequenting the area pretty often in bow season, but never while I was in the stand. Have not had a picture since October so I figured he had ventured across the fence or gone into hiding mode. Saturday evening I noticed him milling behind my feeder (feeder is 195 yds). He walked up to it, took a look around and turned around back the same direction he came from. I had my scope on him and when I had a slight quartering away angle I took the shot. He ran 40-50 yards down towards the bottom of a canyon and piled up. Very unique deer, fortunate to have taken him. Any guess on the score?
