First off, I'm a fabricator. I am an amateur knife maker. You sir are a real knife maker, and you do awesome work!

Based on the pitting on the spine and the forged loop on the back is this from recycled steel? Leave spring, railroad spike perhaps?

All of my knives are made from high carbon recycled steel and I intend to keep it that way.

the steel is bar stock 1084 knife steel. Thanks for the kind words.
