one of our guys shot at him but no blood and never saw him again - looked hard but no luck

Very cool buck. With the kind of deer y'all have, what happens when a deer gets shot at and never found?

if a hunter shoots a trophy and it is not found we bring in dogs if there is any blood. If still not found then that hunter must hunt that same stand for a fairly long stretch to see if the deer shows back up -
