Ruger No. 1 - 08/12/14 03:27 AM

I picked up this rifle chambered in 22-250 a while back and haven't had a chance to get a scope on it or much less get any range time. I finally put a Burris 6.5x20x50 I had in the safe on it. I'm even going to meet a good friend at his place Thursday and see how she shoots. It will be my doe rifle after I shoot big boy with my bow this year up how do you like the green scope and sling? Not sure yet if I'm a fan. The rifle is sweet though!

Those rifles are beautiful. Now get that crap off there and put a proper leather sling and black scope on there befitting of a rifle with such class.

Really sweet wood on that rifle. If it shoots and hunts well it's a beautiful rig. up

The secret to those rifles is to handload with the lightest charge you can in a 55gr. Most store bought loads will over power the rifling and cause POI problems. I think the guy at Dallas Shooters supply can help you.

Nice rifle. What twist does ruger use on their 22-250's?

PC VERSION

If it "see's" & shoots good, I guess it's OK, but I'm just not big on a green scope on a quality rifle with such a beautiful stock..........

NON PC VERSION

....get that green POS off of there!

That stock is nice. I have one in 22 Hornet, and I wish my stock was striped like that
