best to date on the nikon - 08/05/14 03:22 AM

I am new to these fancy cameras, just learned how to crop. I am still shooting on auto, but this buck was 300 yards away. I cant wait to get a closer look at him, he has yet to show up on the camera.

Good lenses will certainly help. But if your not shooting with a tripod or a bipod, then get one. Taking pictures with one and getting used to using one will work wonders for your photography no matter how good your camera is.

Thanks curtis, that has crossed my mind. I will take it with me next time out. We have plenty of room in the blinds for it.

A pic i caught 2 trips past, i wish it would have came in clearer. I seen a hawk and noticed it took off real slow, the camera was on my neck. I just started snapping alot of pics, this was the clearest. Rabbit or Rat?
