Stumbled upon this guy at the lease this weekend. I was surprised to see him in the woods so far from the creek.

nah, he's a little baby...I would rather take a bite from him than a copperhead any day.

Now in another couple years, switch that...

he so little his teeth probably wouldn't even penetrate through tennis shoes. probably a rubber toy smile

There is an alligator season in texas. Depends on the county but some you tag like a deer and send off for the tag after the fact.
