Hey Thanx Yall and yeah Mike it does make for some sore fingers!! But you know I've always had a real passion for filework so I say what the heck do what what you love and let it ride!

Actually I get more sore fingers hand saddle stitching sheaths. I hate that part.

It's getting Damascus Bolsters, a band of Turqoise and Fossil Coral. That one is goin to xtreame 360 on here along with the Tanto Necker below it with the same filework.


Yeah that's where I got lucky as the better half does ALL the Sheathwork!

You guys that make knives are true artists, I wish I had the wisdom, and probably more importantly, the patience. They look great.

Hey Thanx Yall! And it's like I tell people that want to make knives - if it doesn't just make you get all giddy inside to finish a knife I wouldn't recommend it - you'll get burnt out! Def. easier ways of makin a livin!!!

My son has been in the military for 14 years now and he has a "thing" for knives. He would love to see the tanto when it is finished. He'd turn it into a zombie killer.

Thanx! For me it's a 3 day process to heat treat I like to let the metal stabilize fully between steps.
