Thanks, glad you like it. Kirinite is a relatively new handle material - very tough stuff and stable.

Im going to own one of these as soon as my wife graduates hygiene school. I like the handle pretty good but I love the overall look and shape of the slumdog. I think you got a winner here.

just picked up my model 1 from bush monkey yesterday. its a awesome blade to say the least!! been carrying it ever since looking for any excuse to use it. cant wait to put it to some real work in the field. great buying experience and quick turn around ill be ordering another soon. _chris

Awesome; I've been toying of making some muli-color micarta. I do with my micarta wraps but I haven't done any in my pressed micarta.... But you got my coggs spinning bro..

That's what I love about being a knife maker, your only limited by your imagination. I've been meaning to call you, I still have your number and I've wanted to come by and meet ya, but I'm so backed up with custom orders, I'm working 7 days a week. Life is good.

I may try that today Jeff. Today is micarta day; my White Burlap knives are smoking hot right now, I dyed some blue last week and going to see what it looks like today when I make some. And I think I'll fire up some mixed to see what it looks like, worst case if it sux, I'll just toss it in the trash!! Done that many times. if my trash can could just talk..

I make the Slumdog in 7" EDC, 8" and Mumbai Special 9" lengths. The 7 and 8 have identical handles. The Mumbai Special 9 adds .5 inches to both the blade and handle of the 7. They all work fine but the 8 is easiest on the eyes.

I saw that blue on their website yesteday; I may have to break down and get me some... I try to make most all of my micarta handles, mosaic pen, sheaths to keep the price low, but those are KILLER!

Heck I want a shirt that color.

I'm going to attempt some of that multi-color micarta this morning, I'll post the pictures when I'm finished. Keep your fingers crossed, it' just an experiment!

got it today and its just as nice in my hand as it is the picture, great quality knife and look forward to getting it bloody on some axis this spring.
