Red,
You're too young to be this grumpy. You need to leave the grouching up to us old guys.

Oh Red, and another thing, I'm guessing you don't like looking at pretty girls either? The pics of the fireman's tower on in my other thread, is located by the hike and bike trails at Town Lake. I ain't ever seen so many hot women, all running around in skin tight, skimpy clothing in all my life. If I was a young man I think I'd be tempted to join 'em.
Yeah, Austin has it's freaks but it's got it's positive sides too.
Sorry guys, I couldn't take pics of the pretty, scantily clad women since my wife was with me. Y'all understand, right?

Interesting fact- the contruction of that building was traded for 3,000,000 acres of land which became the largest fenced ranch in the world....

I can vouch for LP on the trails at town lake, i have to be careful when driving by so i don't get in an accident. I have the same problem when driving around UT.

Texas pink granite! I stop in and gawk every time we go to a Longhorns baseball game or stay in Austin for any reason. Makes me mad about Treaty Oak to this day.
Thanks LP. you're a Texas hero!

Awesome pics. Dove past it a few times.
The last time I drove by was about 4-5 years ago. I remember they were having some type of protest. Is that pretty common? It was the first and only time I have seen a live protest.

Now don't go gettin' carried away. I wouldn't go that far.
But y'all are welcome for the pics. Like I said, after working there for a couple of years I'm pretty partial to the Capitol. Makes me proud to be a Texan.
