A: Those are mostly sandstone. This AR15 is metamorphic and thus much denser. Think 45-70 vs. 22LR.

A: It has not yet been carbon-dated but based on the half-life of carbon -14 at ~5750 years, this AR15 will only become more reliable as it ages.

i just sold mine. i don't want to get into any trouble with the law. i figure i can defend myself with my single shot break open 22 short just as good as i can with my old AR before i sold it.

My hand assembled 15. Spikes upper and lower. Really thought about crossing to the dark side and selling it for well over what I paid for it. But just cant do it.

Here are 2 of mine. Long range and short range.

Just recently lost these... And needed only one more upper to complete them... All RRA LAR-15's

Correct you are color filled spikes spider lower well actually it's a factory spikes M4LE.

Spikes M4LE 16" carbine with 12.5" Midwest industries free float rail, Troy battle sling, VLTOR rifle stock, falcon menace 4-14x44 sitting in a larue SPR-E mount. Does great with the hornady 75gr TAP ammo.

Maybe not the fanciest but I think I win for shortest. 7.62x39 with 7.5" barrel and M231 style stock with shortened buffer assembly. The buffer tube is 2" shorter than a M4 length tube. The scope is abou to come off to go onto a BLK upper and this one will get some fixed sights

VLTOR rifle stock I really like it and the best thing about it is that it fits on either rifle or carbine buffer tube so you don't have to change any of that out just slide it on and use which ever kits you need it comes with both and a VLTOR push button QD sling swivel. At 120 bucks its a bargin.

S&W Mp-15 with lots of mods. Chambered in 5.56. Still adding goodies.

Get you a CAA stock sadle and put on it and it would have a perfect cheek weld lol I've seen some AR pistols with the saddle on the buffer tube and it doesn't look bad at all.

Good idea ! I might do that with one of my lowers.

the short buffer tube is larger in diameter that a standard tube, it already has a very good cheek weld despite how it looks. Makes for a nice compact package.

Gotcha either way that's awesome combines the MP5 stock with the power of a SBR AR.

Probably not the best, but here are my two. Waiting on a Troy rail to come in so I can post up my 3rd in 6.8.



First is a BCM upper, 16" PSA A2 barrel, MOE handguard with the traditional carry handle iron sights. Nothing special about it, but I like it. Just finished putting the lower together today.

Second is a RRA .223 Wylde upper with a 20 HBAR, YHM Diamond rifle length rail, Burris PEPR with a Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40.

My newest.. Luckily I placed the order for this custom 6 months ago and missed out on paying what it is worth in today's market. It was completed and picked up two days so we are just getting aquainted. She is a beauty though..

Andrew Brady of Lone Star Armory built it for me using a set of his machined upper/lowers. It is loaded with quality parts and should make for an awesome match rifle.
