I can't say for sure. If I saw him, I think I would have to send some lead his way.

That would be a cull buck on our place. If you have the tag, I'd shoot him. He would get a little bigger each year, but the genes are not there for optimum antler growth.

Had him at 15 yds, better than anything I've shot, but trying to think of next year(if he makes it)

I just want to encourage everyone hunting the hill country to let every big deer walk until Dec 3rd... not just because I'm set to hunt Dec 1st & 2nd either, lol

choot em. big deer, just never had the genetics. I would say to put him down. Especially if thats the biggest you've seen.

He has a right brow but it is thin and barely an inch. I would still shoot him since he old enough to done growing a body and should be putting on the antler growth at this age.

He may put on some mass and maybe some character points, but he's never going to amount to much more than what he is. I'd knock him down and not look back. Good cull buck there. He'll make a fine looking Euro mount or even a shoulder mount. Good luck.

When you look up 'mgmnt buck',in the dictionary, you'll see a pic of this deer. Nice looking deer, but he doesn't need to spread his genes another year.
