Hard to tell because he is infront of you a bit. If he is 18"wide that gives some perspective. I would say in the 120's not sure where though.

Re: Score help? - 12/22/11 08:37 PM

Mid 150's or more from that pic with over 40" of mass if you are correct on bases. Great buck!

Re: Score help? - 12/22/11 09:02 PM

148-152 I have over 40" in mass alone and 102 on the bottom. (the bottom being mass+beams+spread)

Re: Score help? - 12/22/11 10:55 PM

Thanks guys wasn't too sure how the mass would factor in

Re: Score help? - 12/22/11 11:11 PM

On B&C score it breaks down to about 40-30-20-10 or on a score about 40% of final score is tine length, 30% of final score is mainbeams, 20% of final score is mass and 10% of final score is inside spread more or less on most bucks. With your buck the 20% for mass would be a low amount I am guessing from what I can see.

Re: Score help? - 12/23/11 01:13 AM

I say 130's because of the mass. Anyway you look at it thats a nice buck!!!

Re: Score help? - 12/23/11 01:24 AM

Im getting high 130s but Im having a hard time with the beams and tine length because it is held out so far. Things just seem distorted. Regardless of score it is one helluva buck. Congrats. Is it a Texas buck?

The guy holding the deer goes 6'2 220, one of my dearest friends, as for the deer, i know what he scores, and its 147' +/- has 3 scorable kickers out of view. I know exactly where he was shot too. for the right trade, I might be persuaded to divulge.....

Re: Score help? - 12/23/11 03:37 AM

it's a TX buck, N of I-10, not Panhandle.... Any more than that, and the guy in the pic will come to Midland and stab me in the face with a soldering iron.!!!!
