I am not certain what these 2 pictures are of.
There have been multiple guesses at both from co-workers.
I think the first one is a miniature donkey. I think the 2nd one is a mountain lion.

Re: Please identify - 11/15/11 04:56 PM
1st pic isn't a donkey, although it has huge ears. Looks like a deer but possibly an exotic of some sort.
2nd pic looks like a 'yote.

Re: Please identify - 11/15/11 04:58 PM
hrmm low fence, no exotics around. however, I will say we had an elk on our place a few years ago. no idea where he came from.
I may be seeing things but if you zoom in on the picture of the "cat" it appears that there is a tail.

Yup.
I waffled on the 2nd pic and changed my vote. Doe and a bob-tailed pooty-tat.

ears just look monstrous to be a deer. let me see if I can find another pic at the same location with a doe facing the camera.

The deer in the top pic you listed that is in question is a fawn or yearling.

Re: Please identify - 11/16/11 02:38 AM
BOTH ARE MOUNTAIN LIONS.....if it is on THF......this is always the answer.
The first one is pretending to be a deer and the second one is doing a bobcat impression

Re: Please identify - 11/17/11 04:33 AM
An old knock knee'd doe and a bobcat. The older you get, the bigger your ears look, same with deer.

Re: Please identify - 11/17/11 10:44 AM
First one is definitely a deer, second one is probably a large catamount or puma if you will...no spots to be a bob cat. Looks large and pouncing too! My Vegas bet is on a cougar!

Re: Please identify - 11/17/11 03:35 PM
Jack-a-lope.
I think the jack-a-lope gets slighted on this forum in favor of the black panter or chupa. I'm bringing back the jack-a-lope.

hah no it is a small barn\sleeping quarters with a rest room. however, I have thought about sitting in it multiple times as it has a toilet, heater and windows facing my ultra high-tech nuclear-solar-wind powered corn dispenser\thrower.
not our dogs.
