City boy becomes dove hunter

A fellow moved to the country from town. On opening day of dove season he heads to the local hardware store for a license and to get outfitted.


After purchasing a license, he asks the clerk what the limit on dove is.
"15 birds is the current limit" the guy says.

"Well, how many shotgun shells are in a box?" asks the newbie.

"There's 25 shells in a box...." replies the clerk.

"Then I'll take one box of those too."



Off he goes to a local field to blast some birds...

He returns to the hardware store in about an hour and asks "How many birds did you say was a limit?"

"15" says the clerk.



"Then I'll take 14 more boxes of those shotgun shells."

Sounds like me, only he is a little more optimistic than me, I would have bought 15 more boxes just for good measure.

Just go ahead and buy a couple cases.....

Couple cases would last me a season, but then I only go about 3 times.

I might have to admit that might look like some guy I saw in the mirror.

I must agree with this.
