I would think mice would chew a lot of holes in those bags by then. I've kept a few bags in my garage and they found them eventually. And those weevils do get in there.
Well, I can't keep it cool in a hot garage, so I guess I will just pay the increased prices next year.
You can store it, just not always that practical
Corn prices are all speculation right now, winter wheat hasn’t even been cut yet, so a lot of corn hasn’t been even planted. This is for any where in the northern hemisphere
I often have enough stacked in my workshop to fill one feeder not because of price, but for convenience. I have never had mice but still keep rat poison in the rafters just in case they ever show up. Nor had any problem with weevils. I run a bug bomb in there at least once a year. I figure it is much less exposed to vermin and humidity in my workshop than in the back of a feed store.
Yea, I don’t think it’s a lock that price will go up. Not saying it won’t. When you say next year, are you talking the coming season or a whole year? And if only talking one pallet it seems it would have to go up a WHOLE LOT to be worth any change in routine.
