You need to borrow my new AR-12 with a 20 rd drum loaded with slugs or buckshot lol.

You could make a big dent with a 10/22 out of a pop up blind around 40 yards

Would a fully semi automatic work?

You need a couple of claymores. The mines, not the swords.

How about a big chunk of tannerite? Then again, you might blow up your feeder.

My cousin told me he was going to use tannerite to blow up a herd of pigs, but I don’t know if he ever did it.

Feed pen would solve part of the problem.

Actually, no, you can't. Twice now I've sat in the bow stand with my supressed 10/22. It's so quiet that you can only hear the bolt. Both times I shot the first pig right in the ear and it dropped without a sound. All the other pigs scattered immediately. The bullet piercing the first pigs skull is still loud enough to scatter the rest. And they don't come back. I'm gonna sit tomorrow morning with my suppressed 357 and see what I can do.

This was my father in law's suggestion. Lol. We might actually do that.

Thank you Sir.

A few years back a buddy of mine brought out his SAIGA 12 and high cap mags, we were just shooting cheap birdshot but man that was a lot of fun doing mag dumps with a 12 gauge. As fast as you could pull the trigger. clap

It is amazing what you can do with a regular old semi-auto 12 gauge with the plug removed, I have even used my over-under when it is what I had at the time. I recommend buckshot from bow blind distance. You will be lucky to get off five shots before all the pigs have disappeared from view. I have done this several times, fun.
We have timed pigs and how fast they respond. They move 10-15 feet in the first second after the first shot, and then all shots are all moving targets. In two seconds they are mostly clear of the feeder area.
I like skinnerback's shotgun, that would be awesome for running down pigs across a field in the Gator. I have run out of shots doing that before.

I've done this with a pump 12 guage. I got off three shots and had 3 pigs dead and multiple blood trails that I didn't bother following. I went out this morning and got 2 with my 357. IME, once we get after them pretty hard, they get the message and go find a different corn feeder. We just have not hunted them hard this year yet.

I just got a picture in my head of my son jumping out of a tree with his machete and going after a bunch of pigs. LOL.

It’s by the pound and includes head bonus depending on size. Have been averaging $32 a hog sold varying from 80 pounders up to 276 being the biggest. 200+ pounds is a $70 hog. That trailer load had 29 in it and if I remember correctly was around $900. 27 were caught in one gate drop.

It’s been my experience the spray and pray never works. You have to target them individually. The hardest part in learning to shoot multiple hogs is picking out and staying with hog #2.

Actually, the hardest part in this particular setup is how thin my shooting lanes are. They've only got 10 to 15 yards to the closest cover. If I catch them out in the open, 2, 3, even 4 isn't out of the ordinary.
